1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using our websites, applications, AI learning features, and related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you use the Service for a child, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms and authorize that use.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and children
Adults may create and manage family accounts. A child under 13 may use the Service only after authorization from a parent or guardian. A minor who is old enough to consent under applicable law may use the Service only if legally permitted and must still follow any family or school rules.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use appropriate to the student’s age and circumstances. Additional practices appear in our Children’s Privacy Notice.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You may not share credentials in a way that bypasses account limits or falsely claim to be a parent, guardian, or another person. Account administrators are responsible for assigning and removing authorized access.
4. Educational and AI limitations
The Service provides supplemental educational guidance, practice, and progress information. It is not a school, teacher, counselor, testing authority, or source of professional medical, mental-health, legal, or safety advice. It does not guarantee a grade, test result, admission, mastery level, or alignment with every assignment or curriculum.
AI systems can misunderstand a prompt, overlook context, or produce inaccurate, inappropriate, biased, or incomplete output. Users should evaluate output, verify important facts, show their own work, and follow teacher and school requirements. Do not rely on the Service for emergencies or high-stakes decisions.
5. User content
“User Content” includes questions, prompts, messages, homework, worksheets, images, PDFs, answers, and other material submitted to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, adapt, and display User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service within the permissions and educational context that apply to the account. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for protected backups and legal retention described in our Privacy Notice.
You represent that you have the right to submit User Content. Do not upload confidential records, answer keys, copyrighted materials you are not permitted to use, or unnecessary personal information. Remove names, student IDs, addresses, medical details, and other sensitive information from learning materials when they are not needed.
6. Acceptable use and academic integrity
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Among other things, you may not use the Service to impersonate someone, harm or exploit a child, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, defeat safety controls, disrupt the Service, or submit AI-generated work as your own when that violates an assignment, honor code, or school policy.
7. Privacy and student data
Our Privacy Notice and Children’s Privacy Notice describe how we handle information.
8. Trials, paid services, and cancellation
Some features may be free or offered as a trial. Trial duration, included features, and any conversion to a paid plan will be disclosed before enrollment. A trial advertised as requiring no credit card will not automatically charge you unless you later choose a paid plan and provide a payment method.
Before purchase, we will disclose the price, billing interval, renewal terms, and available cancellation method. Unless a checkout page or separate agreement states otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel a recurring consumer subscription through the account method provided at enrollment or by contacting us.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and materials other than User Content, belongs to Adora AI LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal or authorized educational purposes. No other rights are granted.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service may depend on or link to third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices govern your direct use of those services. We are not responsible for a third-party service that we do not control, but we remain responsible for our own obligations concerning providers that process information for us.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if reasonably necessary to protect students or others, investigate misuse, address security risk, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or discontinue the Service. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export or request deletion of information.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. These disclaimers do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adora AI LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability for a consumer claim will not exceed the amount paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100 if no amount was paid.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post updated Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. General terms
Applicable law governs these Terms without limiting consumer rights that cannot be waived. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable student-data restrictions.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to info@adoralearn.com or through our Contact page.
